routine interupted
a pleasant break from our chores
your all-time fav song u havent heard in so long comes on the radio
a timely sms from a loved one
closin that big deal
a gentle drizzle in the middle of the night
small things
but these sparkles?
they mark our lives

of the job and love and the passion...
i guess i've known this for some time now
but i just never REALLY known ?
comin home from a wedding at midnite
i took da lift with a neighbour
someone i lived nxt door to for the past 20 years and grew up together as boys
he was carryin his lil daughter on his shoulder and we were chattin
and he asked me
" wa.. so late ah.. so how's things? "
and we were tokin and the conversation in the lift came to our jobs
he went like " sucks la.. this and that this and that, so how's yours? "
and instinctively i blurted
" great! it's damn shack but i love my job "
then a silence took over...
hahahaha
and i spoke to my boss this mornin
over coffee
jus to confirm my suspicions
and i realized - it's true
i do love my job
and i guess i'm really lucky
cos i've always thought
to do sumthin well
is to have passion for what you do
and there's nothin i'd rather do right now
i dunno bout 5 yrs later
but the here and now,
there's nuthin else i'd rather do
your career is like your love life
you live, and u love
and along the way, u get ur heart broken a couple times
but you know it when it's finally right
u pull out the stops
and u go about livin
with P A S S I O N
and for me now?
and career and love?
