Sounds really cool doesnt it? was havin a discussion with eileen the other day about the people we call friends ard us today in school, we were actually talkin abt some movie and we went on to say how weird it was these people have been in the same class for 3 yrs and we've never actually like had lunch together or watch a movie or sumthin..

i guess at different stages of our lives, our friends are defined differently, i definately wun be alone when i say i'd rather have a small handful of people u can talk to for real, instead of a big buncha peeps u just say hi and bye to. A good way to sum it up would be when i met my bro caleb some months back, we were havin a drink at wine bar when i said sumthin like " u noe bro.. ur the kinda person i love in my life, people that u dun see for a whole year, and when u sit down again, u spend 10 min updatin each other abt the past year's events, and then it's just like before again, like that one year didnt existed, and we are back to how and where we were back then... "

update : i've pretty much cleared up the site, everything SHOULD be where they're supposed to be, thank god for that, i see a whole load of hits on my photo pages, which is a good sign, u can find the galleries by clickin on the red stone below.

let's see... i'm gonna talk about choices today, i can't recall if i've ever ranted abt this before, but if u HAVE read it on this site before, just skip this part of today's entry. I'm gonna talk specifically about Choice Theory - the "Red ball, Blue ball" scenario, say someone shows u 2 balls, one red and one blue, ah... we have a choice, we can choose to take the red ball, or we can choose to take the blue ball.

What is that person only shows us the red ball? familiar situation? the times we groan and bitch about in our everyday existence, "no choice lah, die die have to do this.. " or "bo bian ah... not like i want to do this"

well Ladies and Gentlemen, remember u heard it from elf, we DO have a choice. Mathematics taught us that "no choice is a choice" In the abovementioned scenario, although we are only showed the red ball, we have a choice to either take the red ball, or NOT take the red ball. That's a choice in itself isnt it?

We make the choices that effect who, what, where we are today. Nobody else makes 'em for us. One of my personal life philosophies is that given ANY situation, we always have 2 choices
1) Bitch about it
2) Make the best of it

Those who choose the latter, are more usually than not, those who come out stronger. Those of them who, when showned the red ball, took the red ball and ran with it. Take heed my friends, for the next time u are shown a red ball? remember, u have a choice.

of the new layout?

as you might have noticed.. the new layout is up!! it's not totally functional yet tho.. bear with me.. this was a totally spur of the moment thingie, i have 20 million other things i shld be doin, what with exams jus 3 wks away.. but this is one of those times in life when u suddenly feel u need to do sumthin? and if u put it off, albeit even for a few hours, the rush is gone, and it'll never get done.. hope this will motivate me to blog more.. will it work? we shall see.. good night y'all.. 8)

of the dining and the dancing ?



Attended the annual BEMS dinner and dance last nite, it was really cool seein people u see everyday in skoo dressed in rags suddenly in gowns and suits.. It wasnt my graduatin batch, cos i'm oni in year3, it was the year4's show but i attended as a member of Exco. I also went on stage to receive my award, it's a faculty award, one receipient for each year. Not bad eh, i didnt know i cut sucha sharp look in a suit... hahahahaha.. -*ego-trip*-

There was also a pagent, the exco table placed bets on who would win, and i was the only one to put my money on Samantha, who DID win!! BEM Queen 2003.. see a pic below of me with her, she's hot eh.... hahahha.

Oh yah, i'm also gonna bitch about my PTS (this means industrial attachment), i can't believe during the balloting last week, i got Ridgewood Condominium, i've gotta work there for like 9 weeks during May till July.. man... all my other pals got like CB Richard Ellis, Knight Frank, Jones Lang Laselle and i got RIDGEWOOD CONDOMINIUM.... big big big bummer... will bitch more about this in another entry when i eventually do start work there. enjoy the pics people, and remember to leave ur comments in the "leave comment" thingie in the photo albums... have a good week y'all.. 8)
